Though there’s still a little under a month left before the official end of summer, I can already feel fall descending onto Chicago. Where once the sun still show past eight, darkness comes before it. When the last few rays of sun shine through my apartment, I can’t help but want to take a picture of the reflections it creates. Perhaps it’s because I lived in an apartment that got very little sunlight that I’m now so obsessed with soaking in the light. The glowing corners combined with a dark room feel both warm and melancholic. Autumn is definitely a more nostalgic season - as the holidays creep up, bringing with them whatever memories of the past.
The flowers bloomed
Bouquets from the flower shop brightened up any somber evening, and its reflection almost glitters against the backdrop.
